SAE GIVES
Campus Involvement
Sigma Alpha Epsilon members are leaders on and active on campus. SAE’s are active in Student Government, the Interfraternity Council, advisory boards and the Student Alumni Association just to name a few. This involvement is encouraged and promoted within the Chapter. It provides members with additional opportunities for leadership and positions ΣAE as an active and responsible part of the campus community.

Community Involvement
The Nebraska Lambda Pi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon has a long and proud tradition of involvement in the community. As True Gentlemen, service to others is central to the way we choose to live. This is not viewed as an obligation—but as a way to strengthen our community and ourselves as responsible leaders. While many brothers are involved in community programs on their own, the chapter also has annual signature programs, which include:
Hockey Fights Cancer
A benefit for the American Cancer Society, this event is coordinated in partnership with a sorority. T-shirt and ticket sales to the events are donated to help fund research and assist patients in their fight against cancer. Last year we raised approximately $4,000.
Paddy Murphy Celebration
As a part of this week-long celebration, the Chapter raised $11,000 and donated the proceeds to the Children’s Miracle Network.
Glow Big Red
Glow Big Red is a 24-hour giving event to advance the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and the many excellent programs and organizations UNL offers.
